For me, spring has to be the most inspiring season, with all of the new plant growth and flowers around, and more interesting produce turning up in the farmers market, thoughts start to turn towards summer and sun. After spending the last few months reading about and watching fun summer things online in the northern hemisphere while we were in the depths of winter, now we can stop hibernating and enjoy some better weather.The thing I love most about spring is the extra hours of daylight; it’s so nice to be able to do things outside when you get home whether it’s taking the dogs for a run on the beach or getting some jobs done in the backyard.

So this month the recipes are inspired by local produce and spring, we have a great line up of fresh light recipes from lemon basil fish to broad bean rocket salad and chocolate, cherry and frangipane tart. I have tasted some and you are in for a treat, I can’t wait to test the rest of them.
