One hot, one cold

September is a funny time of year in NZ; it’s not too cold and not too hot – which coincidently reflects this month’s theme. It’s spring, and as well as baby lambs, freesias, daffodils and new food and wine harvests, it also means calmer, warmer, sunnier weather for us!

September is a funny time of year in NZ; it’s not too cold and not too hot – which coincidently reflects this month’s theme.  It’s spring, and as well as baby lambs, freesias, daffodils and new food and wine harvests, it also means calmer, warmer, sunnier weather for us!

Our blog has been up and running for over a year now and we have officially posted recipes for every season.  What this means to me is that it doesn’t matter if you are half way around the world and when you look out the window it tells a completely different story to ours; you should find a recipe to suit.

Apart from only a couple of dishes, our recipes this month take a sweet slant; from a banana and coconut smoothie to a white chocolate pudding with toffee sauce.
