St Patricks Day and all it’s green associations ironically leaves many keen celebrators feeling somewhat green tinged on March the 18th. If you have fallen into this category, I would like to suggest that before you go and do something rash such as changing your favourite colour or swearing of any celebrations for next year, give good old green one last chance and try this amazing green recovery smoothie.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup honeydew melon
2 kiwifruit (kiwis)
1 cup baby kale leaves
½ cup chopped cucumber
15 mint leaves
1 small thumb of ginger
1 cup coconut water
½ cup ice cubes
METHOD
—
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Sit in your favourite and most relaxing chair and slowly sip until finished.
